What is a Hunter Pace?

A Hunter Pace is a friendly, timed equestrian event that combines the excitement of cross-country riding with the beauty of a scenic trail ride. Riders follow a marked course in teams of two or more, aiming to match the “ideal time” set by the Huntsman. The pace mimics the rhythm of a traditional fox hunt, blending walk, trot, and canter through fields, woods, and natural jumps (which are optional). It’s a fun and social way to enjoy the countryside, test your skills, and share a memorable day with fellow riders!
